Lunar New Year Celebration
February 2 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

The first of hopefully many future Lunar New Year Celebrations will be held here in Bellingham on Sunday, February 2nd at the Dance Barn in Gate 2! Several Asian cultures celebrate Lunar New Year, including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese. While this event is designed to bring the Asian community together, it is open to all residents in Sudden Valley, not just those with Asian heritage or relations.
This year, we’re welcoming the Year of the Wood Snake. 2025 promises to bring wisdom, adaptability, and a sense of transformation. A rare occurrence, the Wood Snake year is believed to bestow unique energies on each Chinese zodiac sign, with some signs aligning more favorably than others. It’s a wonderful time to reflect on the past, set intentions for the future, and enjoy good food and great company!
Don’t miss out on this cultural family celebration to welcome the New Year! If you plan on attending, please be kind and RSVP so we can get an idea of attendees for planning purposes. RSVP, bring the whole family, and let us know what dish or items you’ll be bringing to share.
More details about the Lunar New Year Celebration and how you can RSVP can be found on the Lunar New Year Celebration Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/
Please share this with your neighbors who may not be on Facebook! We are currently limited in our ability to advertise outside of the FB event page and groups, so your help in reaching neighbors who are not on social media is deeply appreciated. Thank you!!
